Our Story


We are 4th generation American farmers living and ranching in the heart of California

The Boere family has a long history of dairy farming, 25 of those years being certified organic. After the dairy industry was no longer viable for our operation we decided to transition our dairy genetics to beef genetics.

Keeping our ranch sustainable for the next generation

We provide good quality beef from our ranch to your table from cattle raised in low stress environments. They graze on grass year-around and never receive any hormones or antibiotics. We offer both grass fed beef and grass fed - grain finished beef.

Grass Fed - Grain Finished

The steers we process for grain finished beef are hand selected at 800 pounds and added a grain pellet to their diet for desired quality cuts. Grass fed - grain finished means our cattle’s diet consumes of fresh grass, hay and a grain pellet. They are not confined in a feed lot and forced to eat only grain.
